Israel Representative for English-speaking countries

The Jewish Agency for Israel is seeking an outstanding professional to serve as our next Representative for English-speaking countries– a strategic leadership role that directly strengthens Jewish life and deepens the Israel–Diaspora connection.

About the Role This position combines strategic execution with hands-on community impact:

• Lead and manage our team of emissaries across English-speaking countries, ensuring strong, meaningful work within local communities.
• Design and implement strategic initiatives that bring Israel closer to Jewish communities.
• Coordinate needs, resources, and collaborations with partners, institutions, and community stakeholders.
• Develop innovative programming that connects Jewish identity, education, and Israel engagement.

Role Description

• Identifying needs, developing tailored responses, and creating new partnerships
• Implementing the Jewish Agency’s strategy in the region
• Managing the team of emissaries and overseeing the delegation's work
• Representing and positioning the Jewish Agency in the region and connecting it to Israel

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree — an advantage)
• Familiarity and experience working with Diaspora Jewry
• At least 5 years of management experience in a medium/large organization
• Full professional fluency in Hebrew and English
• The position requires relocation for a multi-year emissary assignment
