The Director of FRD Strategy is responsible for leading and optimizing the Moves Management process across the entire fundraising team, ensuring fundraisers effectively manage their donor pipelines and achieve their annual goals. This role collaborates with the Senior Development Officer (SDO) to define fundraising priorities and strategies, manages a team of FRD Strategy Directors focused on specific content areas, and works closely with the support services team to align mission strategy with FRD objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Moves Management: Leads and manages the Moves Management process for the entire fundraising team, ensuring a structured and strategic approach to donor engagement and cultivation.
- Optimizing Fundraiser Pipelines: Works closely with each fundraiser to analyze and refine their donor pipeline, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their annual fundraising goals.
- Strategic Fundraising Planning: Collaborates with the Senior Development Officer (SDO) to develop and implement fundraising priorities and strategies that align with the organization's overall resource development objectives.
- Team Leadership and Management: Manages a team of 3-4 FRD Strategy Directors, each specializing in specific content areas, ensuring alignment with the broader fundraising strategy and supporting their professional growth.
- Coordination with Support Services: Works closely with the support services team to develop and execute mission strategies that align with fundraising priorities, ensuring seamless integration between donor engagement efforts and programmatic activities.
- Education: BA in a relevant field – required; MA – an advantage.
- Fundraising Expertise: Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: fundraising strategy development, donor pipeline management, or Moves Management processes.
- Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams, particularly in a fundraising or strategy-focused environment.
- Collaboration & Strategic Thinking: Ability to work cross-functionally with fundraisers, senior leadership, and support teams to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
- Communication Skills: High-level proficiency in English, including excellent verbal and written communication skills; Hebrew – an advantage.
- Project & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience working with CRM systems for donor management – an advantage.
