Location: Hybrid – 2 days in office, Jerusalem
Time Commitment: Part-time freelancer, approximately. 20 hours/week, up to 80 hours/month (meetings
across multiple time zones).
Start Date: January 4, 2026
Duration: One-year position, through December 4, 2026
Compensation: Competitive part-time payment, commensurate with experience.
Makom seeks a thoughtful, well-organized, and creative Program Logistics Coordinator to support our work
during a key phase of growth. This role combines operations, communications, and program coordination,
working closely with partners and educators across North America and the wider English-speaking world.
Key Responsibilities:
● Partner & Stakeholder Communications: Serve as the main point of contact for partners. Manage
email correspondence, scheduling, and documentation while maintaining a warm, timely, precise,
and personalized tone.
● Budget & Reporting: Track expenses, manage basic budget documentation, produce monthly
activity and financial reports, and flag potential funding or grant opportunities.
● Project Logistics: Monitor deadlines and to-do lists, ensuring meetings happen as planned and
materials are ready. Follow up on action items to keep our team organized across projects and
events.
● Website Coordination: Oversee updates to our website in coordination with our web designer.
● Training, Facilitation & Team Engagement: Support local educator trainings, onboard new
facilitators, and manage the logistical details of contracts, workshops, and retreats.
● Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills
● Proven experience with project logistics
● Deep understanding of the Jewish organizational world, and experience navigating North American
Jewish institutions and networks
● Confident, self-motivated, and collaborative
● Able to take calls and meetings across multiple time zones
● Native English fluency
● Professional Hebrew proficiency
● Bachelor’s degree
